This piece was written in a motel room in Goldfield, Nevada.
The title Mahtochiquala (Lakota for Little Bear) was a name given to me by a friend.
I thought that was so endearing that I made it the title of this instrumental tune so it would live on.
The background vocals sound like a bunch of girls--it's George, Clark and me. Haaa!
